The GfK Group offers the fundamental knowledge that industry, retailers, services companies and the media need to make market decisions. GFK NOP have charged us with processing the data for the FRS (Financial Research Survey) for over 20 years.
The project
The programme is both large and complex and as the ‘industry currency’ it is used by the senior management of most of the major retail financial services institutions in the UK.

The brief
GfK Retail and Technology UK Ltd handle the large-scale continuous audits of goods that people buy in the UK. As part of their activity, they needed to process the data in a standard format, so a system was developed. However, an increase in processing speed was required.

With hundreds of data feeds, fast processing is key to meeting the schedule. We were asked to find ways to enhance this process.

BAA researches passengers at airports. Research demands at BAA are wide-ranging, necessitating a flexible and powerful tracking system and rapid ad hoc survey set-ups and implementations, as well as secure data collection and flexible analysis.

Basis work both in the UK and internationally. Our first project with Basis was a critical, time dependent global project to manage, sample and report data strategically.
