Raz founded Cobalt Sky in 1989 and since that time he says he has learned a lot about the importance of looking after the people he works with. An unquestionable expert in data processing, he began working with Quantum in 1982 and continues to run projects today. Outside of the company, Raz is highly active in the Market Research industry and is on the board of the ASC and the AMSR, as well as being a Fellow of The MRS.
Rebecca has worked at Cobalt Sky since joining as a graduate in 2006 and is a highly experienced web scripter and quantum programmer. She took over managing the Data Collection Team in 2012 before becoming Managing Director in 2018. She has been instrumental in building on the strong ethos and identity that defines Cobalt Sky and the people who work there. As well as being on the committee of the ASC, Rebecca also serves on the main board of the MRS.
Rishi became head of our DP department in 2013, after starting at Cobalt Sky as a graduate in 1995. As well as keeping busy by managing a growing data processing team, he specialises in Quantum and SPSS and particularly enjoys the challenge of working with big data and merging datasets from across various platforms and sources.
Alastair joined the company as a graduate in 2006 and took over the running of the Data Collection Team in 2018. As well as managing the team, he’s also a specialist in scripting complicated surveys and his advanced skills with HTML, CSS and JavaScript make him our go-to-guy for templates and bespoke survey design.
As well as being a senior member of the Data Collection Team, Neil also runs Training & Development at Cobalt Sky. He’s been with the company for 10 years and in that time has developed great working relationships with his clients, thanks to his exceptional communication skills and endless desire to deliver top quality and worry-free service. Internally, Neil has helped train many of our graduates from scratch and also looks after the ongoing development of everyone at the company.
Since starting as a Graduate in 2014 Rich has worked in both the Data Processing and Data Collection sides of our business and is skilled in both Quantum and Dimensions web scripting, often delivering both elements of a project to clients. In addition to this, he took over as Head of Marketing in 2016 and has developed several successful campaigns.
Since joining Cobalt Sky in 2017 Jon quickly established himself as an essential member of the DP team, becoming deputy head of the department shortly after joining. He is also integral in helping to train and develop more junior members of the team. He’s an expert in complex projects and helping clients get the most out of their data, and particularly enjoys the variety of work that ad-hoc projects offer.
Fiona has been with Cobalt Sky for more than 15 years and her expertise lies in running complex, multi-market web surveys. She particularly enjoys working on continuous tracking or wave projects which allow her to build strong relationships with clients. Fiona is also the Deputy Head of Data Collection helping to manage the team.
Back in 1990, Ralph became Cobalt Sky's first ever hire and has spent the last 3 decades honing his skills, becoming one of the most experienced DP Consultants in the industry. Ralph works remotely from Sweden but is always on hand to share his knowledge with his DP colleagues. He is also a key part of Cobalt Sky's Sustainability Team, working towards helping the company reach Net Zero by 2026.
Sajed joined our DP team in the middle of the first lockdown, April 2020, making him Cobalt Sky's first ever remote hire. He enjoys working on unusual projects that require tailor-made approaches and finding solutions to unique problems. Sajed enjoys working in Research as it means we work with all industries and markets, making the subject matter very varied.
A highly experienced Data Processor, Jo started at Cobalt Sky in August 2022 and has quickly become an important member of Rishi’s DP team. An expert in Quantum, she is particularly strong with trackers and wave projects, organising them to find efficiencies. Jo likes investigating new software and learning from others in the team and is a great problem-solver.
Charis started at Cobalt Sky as a graduate in 2018 and thanks to her being an extremely quick learner is now a key member of the DP team. She’s a fantastic fit for the department as she thrives on learning new skills, and the projects she works on always offer her new problems to solve and skills to learn.
Since joining Cobalt Sky as a graduate in 2019, Jefferson has spent time learning both DP and online scripting, before settling into the Data Collection Team full time. He has particularly enjoyed discovering the collaborative nature of market research, which culminates in all parties going the extra mile to deliver first class data to the end client.
Charlie joined Cobalt Sky as a graduate in August 2022 and has been spending his time training in Data Processing and Data Collection. He was particularly attracted to the company ethos at Cobalt Sky, and is enjoying the office environment and the challenges of the work.
Joining the company as a graduate in August 2022, Naomi has spent that time training in both our Data Collection and Data Processing teams. She enjoys communicating with clients and the global nature of the industry, being able to work on projects that go all around the world.
Office Manager Emilia started at Cobalt Sky in 2019. She puts her skills in planning, organisation and problem solving to use on a daily basis whilst managing the accounts and ensuring the office is in good shape.
